What This Site Collects

SimpleHarborHome is a static informational website. It does not operate a user accounts system, process payments, or maintain a subscriber database. The site does not actively collect personal information from visitors except in the following limited contexts.

Contact Form

The contact form on the About page collects name, email address, phone number (optional), and message text submitted voluntarily by the visitor. This form performs a local client-side simulation only — no data is transmitted to a server or stored in any database. The form is intended for general enquiries and no personal data entered into it is retained after the browser session ends.

Cookies and Local Storage

The site uses browser localStorage (not cookies) to store your response to the cookie consent banner shown on the home page. This stores a single value — whether you accepted or rejected the banner — and is used solely to prevent the banner from reappearing on subsequent visits. No tracking or advertising data is associated with this stored value.

The site does not set any first-party tracking cookies. Third-party services embedded on the site, including Google Fonts (used to load the Inter typeface from fonts.googleapis.com), may set their own cookies or log request data in accordance with their own privacy policies.
